I could not believe it when I came across this CD. My wife and I had been writeing down some of our favorite praise songs lately. We were hoping to find them on CDs, but we figured that we would have to purchase various CDs to get all the different songs we wanted. Then, we found this disk. We were amazed. Then, as we listened to the CD, we realized that it had even more songs that we have been hearing on the Christian radio station that we really like. This has instantly become one of our favorite CDs. The songs on this disk are powerful - excellent to listen to when going through difficult times. There are several songs that have lyrics which help bring us into a deeper worship experience than we have found with other music. We got some more to give as gifts, praying it will bless our friends as much as it has blessed us.

This album is full of good songs, but the title is misleading. Essentials, yes. Favorites, some. All time, NOT AT ALL! there are songs not offered that I consider as essential if not more-so than what is offered. This is hardly an "all time favorites" list. This list is limited to 8 or 9 years of contemporary praise and worship. Maybe if it were labeled....
"WOW: That's Progress - Recent Worship Hits"
That would be more acceptable.
Rating - 3 1/2 star song selection, 1/2 star for misleading name.
