This CD took me all the back to my childhood and reminded me of many people I hold dear in my heart. I enjoyed it tremendously. Donnie's voice cannot be matched to any other singer's voice. His voice is so anointed until tears just automatically flowed from my eyes and chills moved up and down my body as I listened to all of that anointing caught up in those hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual songs. This CD brought to my memory many hymns that I had almost forgotten because many of these hymns are not sung in many of our churches today. This CD is a "Must-Have" for all of God's people. It is a keepsake for me and I hold it as more valuable than gold.

Take it from a non-Christian who is a fan of gospel and some Christian pop music, Donnie McClurkin's great and powerful pop-tinged gospel music will stir your soul and send shivers of loving energy down your spine. "I Call You Faithful" is one of the most exciting and gorgeously performed tracks I've heard in a very long time, largely because of the exceptionally magnificent keyboard and piano tracks and the combined energies of all of the great vocalists. You don't have to belong to an organized religion to experience feelings of wonderment and purpose when a great singer is taking you to soaring places. Highest rating!

I heard this cd in someone's car and they were playing "God is Awesome God" in different languages and it was so beautiful. It seemed each song afterward was just as beautiful. They invoked praise! It comes with 2 disc's and I really like the second (not too fond of the last song though OOh Child). My favorite song is the one with Joann Rosario...this is a worship song for real. I think you'll be pleased...but definitely listen to the song samples and see for yourself.
