Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | this is starting to drag out May 4, 2003 |
| I at first liked the Left Behind: The Kids series. But like the adult books, they have been dragging out again. There were, last I checked, plans for over 40 books in the Left Behind Kids series. Now I'm sure they are going to milk it out. Not much happens in this book. Vicki, Conrad, and Shelly are out teaching across the US, Judd is still stuck overseas, and Melinda and Janie still refuse to accept Christ back at the Kids' schoolhouse. Nada and her family get captured. Again. Someone dies, and finally, the horsemen come to kill off 25% of the nonbelievers. Then the book leaves you hanging, something of which Jenkins and Lahaye have been doing more lately with the Left Behind: The Kids series. My recommendation to you is to borrow this from your library or from someone at your church. They are a one time thrill read, and not much else. It is such a shame that the authors have succombed to greed, but they have, and will most likely milk the series dry to make some money. | | | | Whoa! Big Shocker! Jan 2, 2003 |
I could not believe it when I read this book. They just dealt out the unexpected left and right. I won't tell you exactly what happens, but you find out what a great friend Nada really is, even if you might realize it too late. My sister and I never liked Nada in the first place. We thought she was too pushy, too reckless. She was horning in on Judd and Vicki, and we didn't like that. Now, I find myself liking her, even if I never wanted to. Also, Vicki just keeps getting stronger and stronger in her faith. I think that if the Rapture had never happened, and if she had received Christ anyway, she'd have made a great pastoress. | | | Write your own review about Horsemen of Terror: The Unseen Judgment (Left Behind: The Kids)
