The cd is not bad but it could use better songs on it. I mean...there were a few songs that I can't get enough of. My favorites on the cd are: -It's Raining -Running To You -Ungrateful -Reveal My Heart -Let Me Go -Jesus For President -Love Him Like I do -The Word The rest of the cd is so so....Deitrick's music is a different way to present gospel, but some of the songs are just not catchy to me. I like gospel out of the ordinary that has an r&b/hip hop flavor to it, but some of the songs on this cd just were "skippable" to me. It's refreshing to hear someone present gospel music in such a way that can appeal to the younger audience (and they NEED is just like we all do), but I wasn't impressed with it. This is what I get for always listening to Mary Mary all the time! Dang it!! LOL! His cd is worth listening to...worth a try at least. Give it a try..it's something different.

This was and is an awesome CD with a more contemporary tone to it. I'm 26 and love the flow and message of the entire CD

Mr. Haddon has done it again! This c.d. had me blown away! I've loved his music all along but this album brought a good change in me. I usually could pick out maybe 4 or 5 favorites in all my c.ds but this one, I couldn't do it, because they all were fabulous! This man is anointed and if you want to be able to worship and nod your head to some good music, pick this album up!

I'm usually good at picking worship CDs, but I missed the mark with this one. I won't criticize anything about it because it is the first Deitrick Haddon music I have ever listened to. And I think that just because I didn't like it doesn't mean it's a bad CD. It's just not to my taste. I grew up in a traditional gospel church, but I've grown to love Praise and Worship and contemporary gospel music as well. But what I realized after I got this CD is that I like a few fast, jumping, thumping songs but my favorite are the intimate, soul-felt and Spirit-filled worship ballads. The CDs I love have some jumping and enough of the ballads to balance it out to my taste.
This album jumped alot and I was having a hard time getting the meaning. I lost interest before I heard the whole thing - which rarely happens. Even though I gave the CD to my son, because as a teenager, I think he may appreciate it more than I did, I am going to listen to it again some day and see if I came to my conclusion prematurely.
Now his wife's CD (No Looking Back) I absolutely LOVE. Fell in love with it from the very second song. I fell in love with Mary, Mary (The Sound) on their first song.
