| This is one of my favorite books in the whole series! As a young woman I thought the it was great that Gilbert turned the tables around for the male characters in this story. Some points in the book were very humorous, like the football game, but what I learned from this story is that dominence is not the answer in any relationship, may it be husband and wife, friends, or siblings. In a relationship there must be compramise and an understanding that each and every one of us is equal in God's sight. That was the main point that I got from this story. This series is one of the best teen and young adult series in Christian fiction that I have ever read. I started reading this series in elementry and ended it in Junior High. | I find that some people find this sexist, but this has good Biblical teaching. In the Bible it says that men should lead and that women should love their husbands, but if you stopped there, you would be selective reading. It also says to men, treat your wife as you would treat yourself and it says we are equal. In the book, yes the women were stubborn, selfish, and totally backward, but only because they were born and taught to be that way. Women are led with emotions and at the end (sorry for giving it away) are shown this. I think that he did a good job writing this book. | This is a truly wonderful book! It helped me to understand that we should treat everyone equally. Not just because there "cool" or "popular". But treating them all the way Christ would want us to treat others. God didn't come down to save the "popluar" people but everyone! The book really helped me a lot! I read all ten books in a month! I couldn't put them down. They are a great series, an alagory. I have read the series a dozen of times! Attack of the this sites is one of my favorites!
